Seismic and acoustic sensing with passive sensors for target detection and recognition applications. Estimation of source location using time domain correlation and higher order sub-spaced based source localization techniques for early warning applications. Finding out the characteristic features of the seismo-acoustic signals generated from different class of vehicles and classifying them using statistical pattern recognition techniques. This research work is been a part of the 12th FYP CSIR project OMEGA-Inferential Imaging-Photo, Acoustics and Seismic.

Research and development on distributed sensing of seismic activity in National Capital Region of Indian. Generating earthquake warning signal on the detecting the event for Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), New Delhi. Real time implementation and interfacing with Central Control Room for alerting during occurring of an earthquake event. This work has been sponsored from DMRC with the project entitled Earthquake Warning System for Delhi Metro Network.

Structural health monitoring and predictive diagnostic modeling of structures using accelerometer sensors and acoustic emission technique. This research work is been a part of 12th FYP Network Project entitled IHEAL with CSIR-SERC as the nodal laboratory.
