Current Work Area

Currently, her research work includes avionics instrumentation. Avionics instrumentation is a challenging field of research which involves working electronic systems used for military aircrafts. Her work revolves mainly around following areas:
a. Development of hardware and software for see-through multifunctional head up displays and BSAS equipment to facilitate pilot with flight, aircraft and mission information superimposed on forward view of pilot focused at infinity thus avoiding need to refocus pilot’s attention on near & far field, and, harmonisation in aircraft.
b. Development of multispectral image-fusion for SA enhancement and methodology for SA assessment based on Fuzzy decision model to give a quantitative and qualitative estimate of operator’s SA during surveillance.
c. Development of hardware and software for Aviation Cockpit Display Validation Platform for testing and validation of multiple optronics ground, naval and air borne equipment.
d. Development of LED Light Systems with modular configuration, power efficient, robust and multiple operational modes including covert mode which find application in military and passenger aircrafts as well as in Naval & Coast Guard Ships.
