• Development of Fiber Optic Sensors; Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) & Phase-Shifted Fiber Bragg Grating (PS-FBG) based Sensors for Underwater Acoustic Signal Monitoring and Other Dynamic Signal Sensing.
• Interrogation Techniques for FBG & PS-FBG Sensors; Interferometric Interrogation Techniques of Fiber Grating based Sensors for Small Amplitude Dynamic Perturbation Monitoring.
• Fabrication of Fiber based Mach-Zehnder and Michelson Interferometers for Sensing Applications.
• Non-Invasive Single-Shot Imaging through Scattering Medium, Speckle Interferometry, Speckle Correlation Statistics, Phase Retrieval Algorithms.
• Development of Compact and Portable Platforms for Digital Holographic Microscopy, Phase-contrast Microscopy and Development of Optical Tools for Biomedical Research.
